Racism Rules In Glasgow
Strathclyde police and Glasgow City Council have refused permission for a march in Glasgow City Centre for the 9th of August.
Strathclyde Police, the only objectors to the march, have stated they can not police it due to threats of violence against those taking part.
Organiser, Franny McAdam, said “It is an outrageous decision! The march is to highlight Anti Irish Racism and is being stopped because of threats of violence from racists.”

Alan Mitchell was a past bass drummer and could say set the way our bass drummers and the band have played since he was a member.

St Patrick's Day
Welcome to our website, this site is dedicated to the memory of Volunteer Sean "Maxi" Mcilvenná whom was a member of the Provisional Irish Republican Army and lost his life in the struggle to end the occupation by the British government in Ireland
The band is proud to be named after such a dedicated volunteer and member of the republican movement, the primary purpose of the band and this website is to dispel the most common and fabricated myth about the struggle for a united Ireland is that it is not a sectarian one, it is a political one.
Supporters of this cause are only the victims of sectarianism, not the perpetrators, inflicted by the British establishment and their various factions, Sectarianism was created by the British to ensure control over and divide the Irish nation and their propaganda to this day still attempts to undermine the Republican struggle as a sectarian one.
Within this site you will be able to gain more information on Sean as well as everything from the latest band news and details of upcoming parades, and social events, along with news and information of ongoing campaigns, educational material and relevant articles.
In addition, there are other features such as band and republican merchandise is also available to buy or you can join our new forum and get kept up to date with all that the band has to offer, the band has recently added a donations feature to the website, if you wish to donate a couple pound to the up keep of the band then use this link and you will be taken to the donations page.
So all that’s left now is we hope you enjoy your visit to our website and don’t forget to leave us any feedback or idea’s on our Guestbook.
